Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:


EU/Home:

  • Applicants must hold either an A Level Diploma (a-levels or equivalent) with a minimum of two passes, or a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma or three BTEC Level 3 National Diplomas with passes.

Overseas/International:

  • Applicants with overseas qualifications should possess an A Level Diploma (a-levels or equivalent) at the relevant standard.

Other Eligibility Factors

  • Applicants may have other qualifications or relevant work experience which can demonstrate their ability to succeed.
  • Applications from mature applicants with significant relevant experience are welcome and considered on their own merit.

Language Proficiency Requirements:

For international students whose first language is not English or whose language qualifications fall below the required standards, evidence is needed that demonstrates the applicant has sufficient English skills for successful study. This can be shown in one of the following ways:


English language qualifications

  • An official GCSE, iGCSE or IEB certificate in English with grade C/4 or above, not more than three years old at the time of entry to the course
  • An internationally recognised English proficiency test with a grade equivalent of IELTS 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each band
  • Applicants must provide an official transcript or other evidence to confirm the grade achieved.
  • If you do not possess any of these qualifications and wish to apply for a course at AUB, then you can enrol on an AUB English language course.
  • Successful completion of the AUB English language course at a level deemed acceptable will allow you to meet the required standards for admission.
