Animation – an Introduction (stage 1)

Program Overview

This 8-week Saturday Art School program, designed for aspiring animators aged 12-15, provides an introduction to the world of 2D animation. Students will learn the 12 principles of animation, character design, and storyboarding, using industry-standard equipment in specialist studio spaces. Upon completion, students will have improved art and design skills, increased confidence and creativity, and a foundation for further learning and potential careers in animation.

• Autumn term 2024: Saturday 28 September – 30 November 2024 ( Please note, there's no session on 5 October or 2 November due to AUB Open Days.

• Spring term 2025: Saturday 1 February – 22 March 2025
