Entry Requirements:
Graduate Diploma Arts: Carving:
- Previous training and experience in stonemasonry or carving.
- Interest in taking the PgDip/MA Carving course.
- Need to enhance or upskill an area of practice or knowledge before embarking on the PgDip/MA Carving.
PgDip/MA Carving:
- Applicants should have a good honors degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, such as Fine Art, Sculpture, History of Art, Architecture, or Archaeology.
- Applicants with a non-traditional background may be considered if they can demonstrate a strong commitment to carving and have relevant experience.
- Applicants are also expected to have a good understanding of drawing, 3D design, and basic workshop skills.
- All applicants are required to submit a portfolio of their work.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
- Applicants whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate their proficiency in English by achieving a minimum score of 6.5 in the IELTS Academic test, with no individual band score below 6.0.
