This two-year Ontario College Diploma program in Biotechnology prepares students for careers in the field, equipping them with knowledge and skills in molecular biology, cell biology, chemistry, and physiology. Through experiential learning, industry connections, and a micro-credential in Changemaking and Social Entrepreneurism, graduates are well-positioned for roles in pharmaceutical companies, cannabis production, and other biotechnology sectors.

Degree Overview:
- Program Description: This program prepares students for a career in biotechnology, a field that utilizes scientific techniques to understand and modify living organisms and biological processes. Students develop their knowledge and skills through comprehensive experiential learning, covering techniques in molecular biology, cell biology, chemistry, and physiology. They use cutting-edge equipment and explore current topics in the field. Additionally, students learn to collect, document, analyze, and present data in accordance with industry standards. Completion of a micro-credential in Changemaking and Social Entrepreneurism equips graduates to identify opportunities and become proactive problem solvers. Through living resume development, they expand their skillsets and build professional networks.
