- Contract of Employment: explores the difference between employees and independent contractors, introduces the concept of vicarious liability, outlines the key elements of a prudent employment contract, and examines the various types of employment contracts.
- Legal Framework in Employment Law: analyzes the legal framework governing employment law, including the Constitution, Statute Law, Common Law, European Law, and the dispute resolution forums.
- Protective Legislation: examines the obligations imposed on employers regarding the provision of protective leave, including leave under the Organisation of Working Time legislation, maternity, parental, carer, and adoptive leave.
- Employment Equality and Harassment: discusses the main features of the Employment Equality Acts concerning equal treatment, equal pay, direct and indirect discrimination, permitted grounds for discrimination, and explores the related topics of harassment and sexual harassment in the workplace.
