  • Submission of a portfolio of creative writing which includes:
  • 20 pages of prose for fiction or creative nonfiction
  • 6-8 poems for poetry
  • For screenwriting, submit one feature-length screenplay with an optional 1-2 page scene or treatment for a second project.
  • Two letters of recommendation from individuals who can speak to your writing ability and potential.
  • A personal statement of 2 pages discussing your writing goals and aspirations.
  • Official transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended.
  • A $60 application fee.

International Overseas Students:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
