Masonry

Program Overview

KPU's Masonry program is a 21-week, off-campus program that provides hands-on training in working with various materials, including brick, concrete, and stone. The program prepares students for employment as Mason (Bricklayer) apprentices and covers topics such as blueprint reading, building codes, and industry safety. Students will gain practical experience through hands-on shop work and instruction from experienced instructors with industry knowledge.

• Foundation Training:
Prepares students for employment as a Mason (Bricklayer) apprentice. Covers blueprint reading, building codes, industry safety, and handling hazardous materials.
• YTT Training: 21-week Foundation level training offered in partnership with various school districts.

• Students who successfully complete the Masonry: Citation (Foundation) will be prepared for employment as a Mason (Bricklayer) apprentice.
