EU Home Students:
- Good honours degree with a significant proportion in Computer Science. Applicants with third-class honours degrees will be considered on a case-by-case basis, typically requiring additional qualifications and/or significant relevant professional experience.
- GCSE Grade 4 (or C or accepted equivalent) in English Language or English Literature and Mathematics. If you lack the appropriate GCSEs or proof of grades, refer to the GCSE Equivalency information below.
- Effective reading, communication, and writing skills in standard English.
- Suitable personal and intellectual qualities required for teaching in secondary schools.
- Commitment, attitudes, and values befitting a secondary teacher, and the potential to become one. Prior experience in secondary schools is beneficial but not mandatory.
International Overseas Students (outside the EU):
- Meet the above requirements for EU Home Students.
- IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component, or an equivalent English language qualification.
