This short course aims to equip participants with knowledge and skills in both sustainable event management and health and safety principles within the event industry.
Content:
- Sustainable Development Policies: Focuses on policies relevant to the events industry, including the Triple Bottom Line and its impact on communities, legacy and sustainability of large events, and the role of government intervention.
- Health and Safety Principles: Covers principles applicable to the events industry, encompassing legal aspects, crowd accident prevention measures, and safe event organization.

- Online: Live, 1-hour online sessions twice a week.
- Independent study: 4 weeks for assignment completion, with optional individual consultations with the course leader.
