Entry Requirements:


Scottish Applicants:

  • Educational Requirements: An undergraduate degree (or equivalent professional experience) is usually required for Master's level study.
  • Applicants should ensure their previous qualification has prepared them adequately for this level. Proof of qualifications is not necessary, but it's recommended for applicants to consider their suitability for the level of study.
  • English Language Requirements: Proof of English Language skills is not required.
  • However, applicants should assess their own language skills to ensure they are sufficient for Master's level studies. This level typically requires a score of IELTS 6.5 overall, with no component score below 6.0.

Non-Scottish Applicants (EU & International):

  • Educational Requirements: Same as for Scottish applicants.
  • Additionally, non-Scottish applicants should ensure their qualification has been taught at a suitable level for Master's level studies in the UK.
  • English Language Requirements: Same as for Scottish applicants.

Specific Entry Requirements for Free Places:

  • Residency: Applicants must be residents of Scotland.
