It's important your qualifications enable the demonstration you have the minimum required skills, abilities and academic preparedness for a positive engagement with our learning objectives and outcomes (as set by professional accreditors where that applies e.g. CMI for Management modules: https://www.managers.org - so you can achieve high quality and graduate/postgraduate career success .
- To ensure the student population reflects national demographics we consider all aspects of applications (diversity
- data link to https://uoa-esfreturns2122.gov.uk/HEProviderReportPage?ukprn= 10009497 - and other data), including qualifications - so you are assessed as holistically as we can when considering whether you meet our entry criteria.
- If you are under-prepared but keen on becoming an eligible applicant there may even be opportunities to join some of our University Foundation Year Courses (121 credits at Level 3 to become eligible after 45 credits); access courses offered by private Higher level education course colleges
- link/s; etc.) as a route if you don't quite make certain grades etc.
- ; or you could consider starting with our higher apprenticeships (https://uoe.outreachhubsnet.org/ as an employer seeking an apprentice/higher apprentice: these courses lead (typically 4 years part-/full-time) from university level 3 (Foundation) through Bachelors
- level of study through to Post Graduate study levels at work at Levels (6 & 7 (eligibility/entry
- conditions of which vary); and we have 3 new (2020-2023 academic student intake dates across an expanded range of options) Masters Apprentices (Level 7 for 3 years: 2 of study, followed by 1 work-focussed on a 'postgraduate workplace-learning project'- all are fully-employed apprenticeships ) and the University's 4 Masters Degree courses: MSc Business Psychology MSc Management (1 of these is linked/partnerled by our University/Business School with the UK's largest employer and another is led/partnered with/by GCHQ ) - there will usually be an annual autumn intake for postgraduate students (Masters levels 7 & postgraduate certificates levels 5/7 in the cases of part-/fully flexible online learning: where you pick some or all of our modules across a year to match those offered from our other 2/4 course intake months). We accept students on prior learning at Levels or credit levels above the minimum entry criteria listed (depending on what their learning is equivalent to and the student selection decision on their full application ) and will look/allow for more flexible entry arrangements e.g./i .e in some of our full time, online Learning: part- part time modules (a maximum of usually four modules on the 1:2 ratio - usually 1 part or full online module for every 2 taught units from our core/part time/foundation offerings across our 3 campuses and at the partner organisations we work with for the teaching sessions across our University-validated qualifications as well as other qualifications including those of 7 professional accredited bodies or more), so we can accommodate a diverse student cohert at University or Masters levels (so these routes e.g. : from a foundation degree of another institution at level 4 top-up or access/direct university entry levels 3/5 at the university) from a wide background (see our full time 'open, distance & flexible online module' and part time (some part-/some fully online 'blended') course list (link) - which includes our courses taught here in our UK campuses for students to come here into our libraries/computer suites: etc.) for those courses where we make the university offer to you or, indeed, you make one too us on a 'choose course' form) at/before interview as we seek a highly committed student body as those who study through us, our partners for our validations with them
- or who we co=deliver awards with at or across (wherever their other campuses may/don't happen/already be across all
- four nations within the UK) at: the University of Manchester's (UMIST campus: link to https://studyportal.man.nhs or e .g.
- our current joint partner, University Centre Farnborough, for part time courses (that we can offer/they teach - wherever your home location) but also our fully online: 'anywhere you have wi/fi is your classroom or library as you have instant online: live access e.g.
- to university-approved lecture notes/handouts) 1 day/1 week-at-a
- campus (full time part time, flexible to fit in around work) course(s), if that's applicable/of interest as we consider each applications holistically (diversity data etc..), as stated to reflect real world demographics too (link) with many types applications on qualifications/potential from a range of (previous educational) experiences with the student population we take in (on a case-by-case basis (subject to university selection on qualifications/full application)) to the university itself, to postgraduate study too) as the University holds the UK national 'Silver Teaching Excellence Framework'(TEF see: link at https://www.officeforstudents.org.uk/advice-guidance//teaching-evaluation-framework-(tef)/); an award usually held by circa ten of our UK's 133 University course providers or less at any stage in the recent five year years). #
