Modules:
- Research (20 credits): Introduces research approaches, specifying research problems, data collection, analysis, presentation, and methodology evaluation.
- Product Development (20 credits): Develops solution development abilities.
- Advanced Cyber Security (20 credits): Analyzes trade-offs in balancing security properties of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Selects suitable tools and techniques to address risk, threats, vulnerabilities, and potential attacks.
- Advanced Routing (20 credits): Studies the current exterior gateway protocol for internet routing and how service providers use it to support their routing policies.
- Telecommunications (20 credits): Explores the evolution from analog to digital telephony, VOIP, GSM, and converged networks. Students build a fully converged modern telecommunications system.
- IT Service Management (20 credits): Develops knowledge and understanding of maximizing business value through IT and IT processes.

- Lectures, interactive lectorials, lab-based practicals, classroom-based seminars, group problem-solving sessions, case studies, guest expert lectures, one-to-one and group supervision, online learning.
- Majority of assessments are practical coursework with some written assessments and time-constrained assessments.

- Written assessments and occasional time-constrained assessments are also used.
