EU home students:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths.
  • Completion of a recognised high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Achieving a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 with no individual skill score (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) lower than 5.5.

International overseas students outside the EU:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths.
  • Completion of a recognised high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Achieving a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 with no individual skill score (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) lower than 5.5.

The University welcomes applications from those with an IELTS or equivalent score of 5 or above with no individual skill score (speaking, listening, reading and writing) lower than 4.5. If your level of English is higher than IELTS 5 you can study this course and achieve a score 1 band higher than your entry score. However if your IELTS or equivalent score is higher or lower than 4.5, you can also choose one of these alternative courses to improve your English language skills:
