Entry Requirements:


EU home students:

  • Five GCSEs at grade C or above, to include mathematics and English language, or equivalent qualifications (grade 4 in a numerical grade GCSE will suffice)
  • An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Completion of a medical pro forma (based on DFEE Circular 8/92)

International overseas students (outside the EU):

  • Five GCSEs at grade C or above, including mathematics and English language, or equivalent qualifications (grade 4 in a numerical grade GCSE is acceptable)
  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) at a score of 6.5 overall, with 6.5 in writing and no element below 6.0

Language Proficiency Requirements:

For international students who do not hold English language qualifications at the required standard, the University offers pre-sessional English courses to help students achieve their academic objectives.


Exclusions:

The course is subject to revalidation, meeting requirements for Initial Teacher Training from 2024, and may undergo modifications.
