Program Overview
The International Human Rights Law and Practice LLM is a one-year full-time or two-year part-time program that provides students with the knowledge, skills, and experience to work in human rights. The program includes core modules in applying international human rights law, practice of fieldwork, human rights placement, and international human rights laboratory, as well as option modules in financial crime, current issues in counter-terrorism and media law, and critical theory. Students are assessed through a combination of essays, written and oral moot submissions, presentations, advocacy campaign preparation, submissions to human rights organs, and a final dissertation.

International Human Rights Law and Practice (LLM)
Degree Overview:
This one-year full-time or two years part-time (for non-visa students) LLM aims to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experience to work in human rights by:
- critical, nuanced, and interdisciplinary examination of the paradox
- Exploring issues related to states, actors, standard-setting versus implementation, and interplay of law, policy and advocacy at local, regional and global levels.

Assessment:
- essays, written and oral moot submissions, presentations, advocacy campaign preparation, submissions to human rights organs, and a final 12,000-word Dissertation
