Entry Requirements:


For all Applicants:

  • Completed undergraduate degree with a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent.
  • Masters degree or at least three years of professional experience in theatre, film, television, or interactive media production.

For International Applicants:

  • Evidence of English language proficiency meeting the University's minimum requirements.
  • Acceptable English language tests and required scores include:
  • IELTS: Overall score of 7.0 with no individual component below 6.5.
  • TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 100 with a minimum of 24 in Writing and Speaking, and 20 in Reading and Listening.
  • PTE Academic: Overall score of 67 with no communicative skills score below 61.
  • CAE and CPE: Overall score of 185 with no individual component below 176.
  • Trinity ISE: Level III with a pass in all four components.
  • If your first language is not English, you must provide evidence of your ability to meet the University's minimum English language requirements.
