This course, Integrated Care Across the Lifespan (THPR 2033), introduces learners to human development, both typical and atypical, fostering an understanding of their role within the interprofessional treatment team of speech-language pathologists (SLPs), physical therapists (PTs), and occupational therapists (OTs). Focusing on the foundations of pediatric care, the course enables learners to integrate their existing knowledge to analyze holistic treatments for a variety of conditions or impairments. Emphases are placed on health promotion, maintenance, remediation, and adaptation strategies.
