  • The Environmental Technician Field School (ENVI 2226) is a 9-credit experiential, off-campus, residential 5-week course offered in the month of September in the 3rd term of the program.
  • Students will get hands-on experience in a wide range of environmental skills, including:
  • Field safety
  • Navigation
  • Soil descriptions
  • Ecosite classification
  • Wildlife sampling
  • Water sampling
  • Vegetation sampling and identification
  • Wetland classification
  • Students will also be exposed to management of natural resources, including:
