- Course Overview: This course introduces students to methods for gathering, exploring, analyzing, and presenting data. Students will learn how to effectively organize data and transform it for use in machine learning and analytics. The course covers the application of statistical analyses, including averages, standard deviation, histograms, distributions, and more. Students will explore software that can be used to gather, sort, analyze, and visualize data.
- Prerequisites:
- A minimum grade of C in CMPT 1510, MATH 1205, STAT 1151, CMPT 2021
- Course Format: This course includes both lecture and lab components.
