  • It covers topics such as team functional roles, communication strategies, conflict management, and cultural competency. Coursework also includes client interviewing techniques and the establishment of therapeutic relationships. Through simulated clinical and interprofessional scenarios, students apply their theoretical knowledge and practice their communication strategies.
  • Program Structure: The program consists of 30 hours of lecture and 15 hours of lab sessions with options for in-person or online delivery.
  • In-person lab sessions are mandatory and held at the NorQuest College Edmonton campus.
