Program Overview
This advanced foot care course combines independent study, instructor-led theory, and clinical practice to prepare nurses for providing foot care in private practice or healthcare settings. Nurses will learn assessment and treatment of foot ailments, high-risk client care, sterilization protocols, records management, interdisciplinary care, and business fundamentals. All supplies and instruments are included.

This advanced foot care course combines independent study and assignments, instructor-led theory, and clinical practice. All supplies and instruments are included. Nurses will learn assessment and treatment of ailments of the foot, as well as how to care for high-risk clients. Other topics include the standards for sterilization protocols and accepted procedures for foot care nurses, records management, interdisciplinary care, and business fundamentals. At the end of this course, the nurse is prepared to provide foot care in either private practice or in a health-care setting.
