The Master of Applied Human Nutrition (MAHN) is a one-year Master’s program that provides the practicum program needed for students to become Registered Dietitians (RD) in Canada.
Objectives:

Program Description:
The MAHN program is a combined Master’s education and dietetic practicum program that provides the practicum training necessary to qualify as a Registered Dietitian. The Practicum consists of supervised practical learning within the scope of nutrition care.

- Three graduate level courses in Advanced Applied Human Nutrition, covering essential skills and current knowledge pertaining to the practice of dietetics

HNSC 7750 – Advanced Applied Human Nutrition 3
This course will cover the following topics:
- Medical nutrition therapy

HNSC 7760 – Practice-Based Dietetics Research
This course will provide students with the opportunity to conduct a research project in the area of dietetics.
