Program Overview
The Women's and Gender Studies program at the University of Manitoba is an interdisciplinary program that explores social justice, political, and cultural issues related to women's experiences, gender relations, race, class, and oppression. Students will explore and respond to current and historical debates about women's experiences, gender relations, race, class relations and oppression.

In the past undergraduates have found careers in fields including: Social justice outreach Community health/Addictions/Social programs Publishing/Editing/Communications Some students use women's and gender studies as a base to move on to additional studies in areas such as: Social work Health care Midwifery Education Law Creativity and design
