Program Overview
The Sustainable Enterprise Executive Education & Development (SEED) program is a non-credit, pass/fail program that consists of five mini-courses. Participants who complete all five mini-courses will earn a Certificate in Sustainable Value Creation and 3.75 CEUs. The program is delivered in a live, instructor-led format, and each mini-course meets three times over a period of two weeks for two and a half hours per session. The program is taught by a team of faculty from Villanova University's College of Engineering and Villanova School of Business.

Outline:
The Sustainable Enterprise Executive Education & Development (SEED) program is a non-credit, pass/fail program that consists of five mini-courses. Participants who complete all five mini-courses will earn a Certificate in Sustainable Value Creation and 3.75 CEUs (each individual course is equal to 0.75 CEUs). The program content covers a wide range of sustainability topics, including:
- Understanding sustainability and making its business case
- Tackling sustainability frameworks with a systems mindset
- Designing resilient value chains
- Developing ESG metrics and reporting and influencing the investor
- Leaders as drivers for sustainability engagement and enterprise transformation The program is delivered in a live, instructor-led format, and each mini-course meets three times over a period of two weeks for two and a half hours per session. Sessions are held on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM EST. Participants will invest approximately 2-5 hours per week outside of class sessions on pre-readings and active reflections.
Assessment:
The program is assessed on a pass/fail basis. Participants must complete all five mini-courses in order to earn the Certificate in Sustainable Value Creation.
Teaching:
The program is taught by a team of faculty from Villanova University's College of Engineering and Villanova School of Business. The faculty have expertise in a variety of sustainability-related fields, including:
