Description
Villanova University has partnered with the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine to offer combined bachelor's and graduate degree programs in the health sciences. Students who participate in these programs will earn a bachelor's degree from Villanova University and a professional degree from the affiliate institution.
Dental and Optometry Programs
- Students spend the first three years at Villanova University majoring in either Biology, Biochemistry, or Comprehensive Science.
- Students then transfer to the affiliate institution to complete the final four years of the program, earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine or a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.
Osteopathic Medicine Program
- Students complete all prerequisite coursework for admission to Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) at Villanova University.
- Students then apply to PCOM through the regular application process and must be interviewed to be admitted to the medical school.
