Act in accordance with the ethical and professional responsibilities of a medical practitioner and show leadership to influence positive changes in culture and practice. Advance medical knowledge through professional practice and/or research.

  • Year 1: Foundation knowledge in medical science and clinical skills, with short clinical placements around the state.
  • Years 2-3: Clinical rotations in general practice, general surgery, and general medicine.
  • Years 4-5: Workplace-based clinical attachments in various medical specialties, including medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and psychiatry.
