- HAA003 Introduction to Family History: Designed for individuals interested in their family history or genealogy. Teaches efficient planning and accurate recording of family history using principles and practices. (Credit Points: 12.5)
- HAA004 Writing Family History: Guides students in crafting compelling family histories by identifying the most interesting characters in their family tree and exploring their stories. (Credit Points: 12.5)
- HAA006 Place, image, object: Utilizes objects, images, and places to facilitate remembering, researching, and communicating family history and memories. (Credit Points: 12.5)
- HAA007 Convict Ancestors: Explores convict, prison, and court records to provide rich evidence of the lives led by ancestors. Draws on expertise in crime, law, and convict transportation. (Credit Points: 12.5)

- FXA102 The Family Photo Essay: Trains students in creating family photo essays, combining words and images to communicate family stories. Develops writing skills and techniques for selecting and creating images. (Credit Points: 12.5)
- HAA104 The Family Saga: Introduces various literary forms suitable for writing multi-generational family narratives, including adventure, romance, tragedy, and quiet tales of everyday struggles. (Credit Points: 12.5)

We will consider a range of factors, including economic hardship, serious medical condition or disability. We can only approve applications for special consideration where we are confident that you have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in your studies.
