The Bachelor of Health Science with Honours (M4H) degree at the University of Tasmania aims to equip students with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary for research in Health Science disciplines and to enhance their expertise through two semesters of full-time study or equivalent. Candidates are required to submit a research thesis based on their work within the honours course. All candidates must also complete a unit in statistics and data handling and another unit negotiated with the School. The course additionally includes a literature review directly related to the thesis and a dissertation. Students are required to present their research findings at a seminar.
