Program Overview
This advanced XR World Building course builds on the foundation of XR World Building I, delving deeper into spatial design and VR design aspects. Students develop place, flow, experience, and ambience in XR worlds through hands-on projects and guest lectures from industry experts. The course culminates in a portfolio of advanced XR content and an understanding of career opportunities in the field.

Course Description:
- Building from XR World Building I, this course continues with a deeper study of what it means to design successful XR worlds. Topics include the concept of spatial design and focus on refinement of VR design aspects. Emphasis is on development of place, flow, experience, and ambience. Portions of the class are held and taught in XR as well as traditional remote instruction. Students spend several classes with guest lecturers that are excelling in their particular XR field. Students complete three projects of increasing complexity to allow for experimentation, and incremental improvement. Students leave the course with a portfolio of advanced work and an understanding of more advanced approaches to design and creation of XR content and worlds.
