- This course explores the architecture of Southern California, from its romantic haciendas to eclectic contemporary structures.
- Topics will include the history of Southern California architecture, the different architectural styles found in the region, and the famous structures that make Southern California a magnet for movie stars and moguls alike.
- The course includes two guided field trips:
- Gamble House in Pasadena on January 27
- La Casa Nueva in City of Industry on February 10.
- Class discussions will be on Zoom, and will be recorded. Students will have access to videos for the duration of the course. Field trips will be offsite. Members must provide their own transportation and fees for field trips.
