This course explores the erotic as a genre, teaching writers how to incorporate writing about sex and sexuality artfully into their writing, no matter its subject. Students will explore how eroticism connects to characters, scenes, settings, and voices, and will take chances with their writing through exercises and prompts. They will also read stories incorporating erotic writing to identify successful techniques.
