- In your final year, you will have the opportunity to undertake a short research project, which allows you to make a valuable contribution to an area in the aviation industry that interests you and can be sponsored by an organisation or individual within the aviation industry.
- Griffith University has Australia's most highly recognised aviation teaching program.
Teaching:
- The Bachelor of Aviation Management is available on-campus at Nathan and online.
- The program includes some Trimester 3 core courses.
- Students are able to enrol in on-campus and off-campus modes.
- Students enrolled in on-campus mode will attend face-to-face lectures and tutorials at the Nathan and Mt Gravatt campuses.
- Students electing to enrol off-campus are not required to attend university and will participate in learning activities, lodge assessment items and access support services via Learning@Griffith.
- Access to a reliable computer with an internet connection is essential in both modes.
Careers:
- Graduates of the Bachelor of Aviation Management may be eligible to apply for entry to the Graduate Certificate in Aviation Management (3112) or the Master of Aviation Management (5647).
- As a graduate, you will be prepared for employment in aviation management.
- You will also be able to apply your management skills to many areas of the aviation industry including: airlines, air traffic service providers, maintenance and repair organisations, and government organisations, such as the Australian Defence Force and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).
- Our graduates have been successful in gaining a range of flying and management positions with organisations such as Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Etihad, Jetstar, Qantas and Regional Express as well as Airservices Australia and CASA.
