Program Overview
The Geological Sciences Department at Ohio University offers a Master's degree program in Geological Sciences. The program requires at least six letter-graded graduate-level courses and the completion of a master's thesis. One of the six courses must be Geology 5050, Statistical Methods in Geology, which is required of all graduate students. The Geological Sciences faculty collaborates across three research clusters: Solid Earth and Planetary Dynamics, Sedimentary Geology and Paleobiology, and Environmental and Surficial Processes.
