Program Overview
The CACREP-accredited M.S.Ed. School Counseling program prepares students for school counseling certification and licensure as a professional counselor. The program can be completed in 2 years or part-time, with classes offered in the early evening and late afternoon. Graduates are successful in obtaining employment in school and mental health settings, including as school counselors, school-based therapists, and mental health counselors.

Our CACREP-accredited M.S.Ed. School Counseling program prepares you for school counseling certification and licensure as a professional counselor (LPC), which is essential employment in the mental health field and private practice. You may complete this Master's of Science in Education in School Counseling program within 2 years or also have the option of completing the program on a part-time basis. Also, you have the option of taking classes in the early evening and late afternoon. Our graduates are very successful in obtaining employment in school and mental health settings.

The stimulating curriculum is designed to include experiential learning, self-reflection papers, case study analysis, and group activities.
