Program Overview
This undergraduate certificate in Classroom and Behavior Management Studies is designed to enhance the expertise of general education teachers in student and classroom behavior management. It consists of 17 credit hours of coursework, including theory and practice of EI, elementary methods in EI, beyond behavior, children, adolescents, and young adults with disabilities, and classroom management and intervention strategies for students with disabilities. The program is open to students pursuing an undergraduate degree at EMU as part of the Initial Teacher Preparation Program or to baccalaureate degree holders with a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
