Fundamentals of Calculus

Program Overview

The Fundamentals of Calculus program at Canadore College is a 14-week part-time course that introduces the basic concepts of calculus through an emphasis on applications and examples. Topics include limits, simple derivatives, derivatives of trigonometric and logarithmic functions, applications of derivatives, curve sketching, integration, and applications of integration. The program is open to students who are 19 years of age or older or have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
