Program Overview

This Adult Learning course provides practical insight into key adult learning theories, exploring the characteristics of adult learners, examining the emotional, cognitive, social, and physical aspects of learning, and identifying preferred learning styles. It introduces strategies and models of facilitation to accommodate the variety of ways in which adults prefer to learn. This course is the foundation of the Teaching and Training Certificate Program and must be taken first.
