About Program
Program Overview
This four-hour course teaches safe chainsaw and manual log splitting practices for home use. It covers PPE, hazard identification, correct work positioning, fuel and oil mixtures, maintenance, sharpening, starting and stopping procedures, and log splitting with hand tools. Participants are welcome to bring their own saws for advice but cannot use them on site.
