Memorial University's unique joint degree program combines business and music studies, enabling students to earn both a B.Comm. and B.Mus. in five years. The program emphasizes musical development, performance, and business acumen, preparing graduates for careers in the music industry, including music business, artist management, and music production. Students can choose from three music majors: composition, general musical studies, or performance.

In 2018, Memorial became the first university in Canada to offer comprehensive, integrated studies in both business and music.
