Program Overview


The Auto Body Repair and Refinishing program is a 40-week program that provides practical, hands-on training in a state-of-the-art auto body shop. Graduates will receive an Auto Body Repair and Refinishing Certificate of Qualification and credits towards apprenticeship programs. The program prepares students for a career in the auto body industry as a registered Apprentice.

Careers:

  • Graduates will receive an Auto Body Repair and Refinishing Certificate of Qualification and the following credits:
  • Level 1 Technical Training credit plus 625 hours towards the Harmonized Auto Body and Collision Technician apprenticeship program.
  • Level 1 Technical Training credit plus 450 hours towards Harmonized Automotive Refinishing Technician apprenticeship program.
  • Graduates will be prepared to start their journey as a registered Apprentice, which will prepare them to return to school for level 2 of the traditional apprenticeship pathway.
