The BCIT Pediatric Nursing Specialty program is a unique Canadian program that prepares students for careers in pediatric nursing. The program includes required courses in pediatric theory and clinical practice, as well as electives in specialized areas such as neonatal nursing and pediatric surgical nursing. Students also complete a core/management component and a liberal studies component.
