The Medical Radiography program at BCIT trains individuals in X-ray imaging. Students are trained in areas of computed tomography (CT), fluoroscopy, OR imaging, emergency/trauma, interventional procedures, and mammography. Assessment:

All didactic (instructional) courses require a 65% mark to pass. All clinical experience is competency-based and therefore has a satisfactory/unsatisfactory grading.

The Medical Radiography faculty are known for their skills, expertise, and dedication to student learning. Our instructors are all CAMRT certified technologists and many remain active in the profession.


Careers:

Most careers begin with casual, entry-level positions in hospitals and private clinics. Salaries start at approximately $28 per hour. Opportunities include:
