Music Education, Combination (B.M.)

Program Overview

This Bachelor of Music program in Music Education with a Vocal or Instrumental Emphasis combines performance coursework, music education classes, and professional education courses. Students develop their musical skills through major instrument, ensemble, and supporting music coursework, while also gaining the knowledge and skills necessary for teaching music at the elementary and secondary levels. The program culminates in a senior capstone seminar and supervised teaching experiences.
