The minimum entry requirement is a bachelor degree in the field of Applied Biology and Biotechnology (or cognate field) with at least four (4) years of full-time study, awarded with First-Class/Honours Class 1. OR a master’s degree with a research component comprised at least 25% of a full-time academic year (or part-time equivalent) and with an overall Distinction average, or a master's degree without research component with high Distinction average.
Language Proficiency Requirements
To study this course you will need to complete one of the following English proficiency tests:
- IELTS (Academic): Minimum overall band score of 6.5 (with no individual band less than 6.0)
- TOEFL (Internet Based Test - IBT): Minimum overall score 79 (with a minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing)
- PTE Academic: Minimum score of 58 (with no communication band less than 50).
- CAE: Minimum score 176, with no less than 169 in any component
