Objectives:

• Prepare graduates for professional advanced social work practice
• Promote social justice, economic justice, and human rights on local, national, and global levels
• Train students to lead in advanced clinical social work practice serving all populations, including the elderly, military personnel, and individuals and groups who face discrimination and oppression.

Program Description:

• Online delivery format using webcam for virtual courses
• Students are required to be available for weekly evening classes via webcam, daytime internship hours, and a one-weekend seminar on University Campus during the summer
• The MSW program is only available to students physically residing in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia
• The program includes a specialization in Trauma-informed care within populations related to children and adolescents, first responders, the military, and vulnerable populations
