Program Overview
This program prepares students for careers in the recreation management field, including positions in parks and recreation, college recreation, and commercial recreation. Students will learn the skills necessary to plan and coordinate recreational activities, manage facilities, and ensure the safety and enjoyment of visitors. - Commercial Recreation: The commercial recreation sector includes privately-owned businesses that provide recreational experiences. Recreation Management positions in this sector plan and coordinate recreational activities, lead adventure tours, and manage the image of their company.
