- Introduction to Early Childhood Education (ECED& 105) - 5 credits: This course provides an overview of the early childhood education field, including the history, theories, and practices of early childhood education. Students will learn about the development of young children, and the role of the early childhood educator.
- Health/Safety/Nutrition (ECED& 107) - 5 credits: This course covers the health, safety, and nutrition needs of young children. Students will learn how to create a safe and healthy environment for children, and how to promote healthy eating habits.
- Practicum-Nurturing Rel (ECED& 120) - 2 credits: This practicum course provides students with the opportunity to work with young children in a real-world setting. Students will observe and interact with children, and develop their skills in early childhood education.
- Family Child Care (ECED& 134) - 3 credits: This course covers the business aspects of family child care. Students will learn how to start and operate a family child care business, including how to market their business, manage their finances, and maintain their records.
