The Master of Arts in Childhood Well-Being program, offered exclusively at OU-Tulsa, is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the factors that contribute to the overall well-being of children. - Develop expertise in the areas of education, health, family and community, and economic well-being of children.
- Gain insights into the data and trends outlined in the National Kids Count Project.
- Provide a multidisciplinary platform for understanding holistic child well-being.
Program Description:
The program consists of 36 credit hours of coursework and is designed for non-thesis completion. It utilizes a cohort model, meaning all students in the program begin and complete coursework together. The curriculum focuses on four broad themes:
- Economic Well-Being
- Education
- Health
- Family and Community Students are also required to complete a statistics course with a grade of C or better.
