Program Overview
The Independent Film Producing, Skills Competency Award (SCA) program provides students with the skills and knowledge needed for a career in producing cinematic productions. The program includes courses in writing for television, independent producing for motion pictures, film and video production, and production for narrative filmmaking. Upon completion, students will be able to design and construct a professional independent film proposal and schedule, budget, and organize a short independent film production.
