  • Some of the careers, to which this sequence may lead, are recording engineer, sound designer, live sound reinforcement engineer, and producer.
  • Objectives: Graduates from this program will:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of musical structure, listening skills, key centers, and basic rhythm foundations in 4/4 time signature.
  • Demonstrate mastery of the following time-based effects: Delay (including chorus, flanging, and phasing), Reverb, and Pitch-shifting.
  • Demonstrate mastery of signal flow in both the DAW and in analog applications.
  • Demonstrate understanding and mastery of the following time-based effects: Volume, Panning, Equalization, and Compression.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mix and reinforce sound in a variety of studio and live environments.
